My Dad bought a fancy, configurable Gigabit-Switch today and I was all about to set it up. The old one had sporadic malfunctions and so I plugged all the wires in and ping <gateway> Rien ne vas plus In addition to that, my CPU-Load grew up to 100%, controllable by plugging or unplugging the ethernet-cable. “Hm” I thought and started a short diagnostic using Wireshark (which almost instantly crashed). The traffic consisted nearly completely from broadcasts coming from 192.168.1.214. I unplugged the corresponding cable but nothing happened. At some point I remembered that Mr. Schmid told us in a IT-lesson, that loops (a loop is when you connect 2 switchports directly) can cause such broadcast-storms. I am flooded with quite strange SPAM-trackbacks lately. All these trackbacks come from 83.233.30.32. All trackbacks are entitled with “casino <number>…” contain the text “casino <number>…” and the URL is “google.com/?<number>”, where <number> is a 10-digit-number, starting with “1241”. The “…” are correct. What the hell do they want? I put the IP and the phrase “casino” on the Blacklist. So please don’t post stuff containing “casino”…

We have elections ths year in Germany and our politicans are very excited already! They want to tighten the regulations on firearms – once again. It is strange, I thought that 6 million shooters in Germany are a pool of voters you don’t want to mess up with. But polls must show something else. It is even more strange, that they want to prohibit Paintball and Laserdom if you believe a politican called Bosbach.
