German online-censorship

It’s been a while since I posted my last politically motivates post. This one is about the plans of the german government to establish a internet-censorship-treaty with local ISPs. Ursula von der Leyen, the german “Familienministerin” (aka federal Minister for Famlily Affairs), established a treaty, in wich german ISPs ensure that they will lock certain child pornographs-sites. The problem is, that it is a treaty between the government and ths ISPs, so this thing never acutally saw a federal legislational process. The actual list is secret, so that noone really knows which page is blocked…

Electrically engineered clothes shopping

Actually, this week are holidays but my mum decided that we should go to Metzingen, an outlet-city about an one-hour drive away. Well, I wasn’t that amused of course not only because shopping is not quite my hobby number one. On the shopping list there was a suit for me for the wedding of my cousin and 2 jeans of my favourite fashion label – No, because they match!! All in all I would have needed about one and a half hours to find all the items – if my mum… you know. The day’s highlight was a meetup with Michi. It was a really cool and funny meeting. Well, this echo squeaks and will, maybe, fall apart in the near future, but it sounds – despite some noise – incredibly well 😉

What must be mentioned, is that the Deutsche Telekom AG (DTAG) is normally not known for its good support. Normally I have to tell them that I know what a Computer is, that I also know when my Router is online or – not AND that I have configured my computer correctly. After I have skipped all these Questions, which normally requires about 5 minutes, I can normally talk them into checking their system. Well, I called them and as usual, there was a computer talking to me. As a matter of fact, this computer understood me perfectly. The first very strange thing. After I reached someone, I told them the problem. Well, instead of searching the
